Primary responsibilities include invoicing of customers, verifying and entering accounts payable


Essential Functions

  • Invoice customers for orders shipped from warehouse.
  • Invoice customers for orders drop shipped from vendors.
    • Attach documentation and file.
  • Post customer payments made by check and scan to deposit to bank account. 
  • Post customer payments made by ACH; research unknown payments received without documentation.
    • Attach check stubs/remittance advices to invoice documents and file.
  • Enter monthly utility invoices and expense reports.
  • Verify vendor invoices against PO documents for accuracy.
  • Entering vendor invoices into AP.
  • Process Accounts Payable weekly for early pay discounts and semi-monthly for all others.
    • Attach supporting documents and file.


Education and Experience

  • Must have HS Diploma or Equivalent
  • Accounting education and recent related accounting experience. 


Job Knowledge and Skills:

  • Working knowledge of general ledger accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable functions using current accounting software products, Sage300 ERP (AccPac), Word and Excel
  • Must be able to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and internal and external customers.
  • Must have excellent organizational and administrative skills. 
  • Must understand confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain control and order over same
