Lead Warehouse Associate

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Process shipping and receiving.
  • Receive vendor shipments and put away using Wireless Warehouse.
  • Monitor for and resolve all internal/external shipping & receiving errors.
  • Pull orders as assigned for shipment or production staging
  • Responsible for maintaining organization & accuracy of staged production material
  • Keep warehouse and shop areas looking professional and clean to 5S standards
  • Responsible for the final inspection of products before shipment.
  • Inventory cycle counting.
  • Make deliveries to local customers as required.
  • Job duties are subject to change as directed by management.

 

Essential Physical Functions/Equipment Used:

  • Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 75lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, kneel, and walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to, or possess the ability to learn how to, operate large warehouse equipment; namely forklifts.

 

Preferred Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred.
  • 3+ year’s previous Warehouse experience.
  • Computer proficiency required, namely the ability to operate Gmail and Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of UPS WorldShip & FedEx tracking software helpful but not required.
  • 5S/Lean experience preferred but not required.

 

Work Environment:

  • Standard warehouse environment; including machine shop, equipment operation, shipping & receiving, inventory area.
