Sales Specialist

You will be responsible for the field sales of R.R. Floody Company’s automation solutions and products. The Automation Sales Specialist uses a combination of commercial and technical competence to drive long-term, profitable relationships with our customers with a technical focus on robotics, machine vision, safety, motion control, sensing, machine control, and data/visualization.

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Proactive planning and execution of sales calls/customer visits.
  • Product demonstrations.
  • Researching products to bring to customers to solve complex problems.
  • Strategic account planning with partner manufacturer sales teams.
  • Maintain an accurate forecast of your business potential with your customers and the manufacturers we represent.
  • Quote generation and Sales Process Documentation.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years in a technical sales or engineering role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering preferred or comparable real-world experience.
  • Knowledge and experience to manage business, drive time and territory management.
  • Previous experience in a defined sales process to deliver desired results on a consistent basic.
