The Inside Sales position provides active outreach to our clients and requires a fast response to our client’s needs. The position has a business development focus supporting our technical sales team. The Inside Sales position will complete both simple and technical quotes, enter and manage sales leads and help register customers for technical trainings/events. Inside Sales will generally provide an initial sales contact for marketing leads and assign these to the appropriate technical salesperson. This position requires a high level of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with the goal to increase the sales for the company.

 

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide quotes to clients upon request, complete quote requests only a daily basis
  • Call customers and prospective customers to determine product or solution interest
  • Follow up on leads, multiple times as required
  • Complete daily tasks in an organized and expeditious fashion
  • Provide feedback and communicate with Sales Engineers and Applications Engineers with information to further the sales process and support for the clients
  • Extensive use of CRM system to communicate and track sales process
  • Assist with marketing efforts including seminars and industry shows
  • Work with Inside Sales Support when needed to solve client issues
  • Backup for Inside Sales Support when needed
  • Proactive phone outreach to multiple clients daily as well as email and direct mailings
  • Record customer contact within CRM
  • Provide sales support as requested

 

 

Qualifications/Experience:

 

  • 40-45 hours/week is the standard for a successful Inside Sales professional
  • Technical training and technical aptitude preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • PC proficient
  • Customer Service or Inside Sales experience preferred
