This position calls for a well-organized person who enjoys working with technology and people. This job requires good oral and written communication skills, basic Microsoft Office applications proficiency, and a professional and courteous personality. The preferred candidate will have an aptitude toward basic electrical and mechanical skills with interest in future growth in electrical/mechanical engineering, and motion control/robotics.



  • Build Olympus Controls products following blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
  • Build 30AWG and large cable assemblies using soldering irons and crimp tooling (IPC 620 certification preferred)
  • Perform testing on cables and other Olympus Controls products per instructions
  • UL 508A electrical panel wiring & troubleshooting
  • Mechanical assembly of systems & sub-systems
  • Effectively manage multiple projects to completion
  • Communicate project status to the production manager and leads as needed
  • Demonstrate Olympus Controls’ values, commitment to quality, and best practices
  • Document all product build details and changes as needed
  • Maintain a neat and clean work environment
  • Follows safety regulations
  • Participate in the implementation of 5S 
  • Assist Olympus personnel with miscellaneous tasks including but not limited to trade show preparation and setup, demo setup and design, and build lab test equipment
  • Perform daily cleanup of production work area



  • 40 hours per week
