Applied Industrial Technologies is currently seeking and has an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Summer Intern – Fluid Power CSR Trainee at our Saskatoon, SK location. The selected candidate will be part of our Applied Scholarship Program.

We are seeking dedicated students who are interested in building a lasting relationship with us by returning year over year for Co-op terms with the ultimate goal of employment after graduation.
As part Applied’s Scholarship Program, at the end of each successful term the selected student will receive a scholarship award for their hard work. Upon returning each year and successfully completing a subsequent term, that award will increase in value!
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The overall purpose of the role Fluid Power CSR Trainee is to develop technical knowledge of Applied’s product offering – specifically in the are of Fluid Power and to develop proficiency in our end to end sales processes. They will play an integral role in helping our customers Achieve Superior Performance!
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Develop sound understanding of Applied’s processes, product offerings, clients, and markets
- Provide Fluid Power product knowledge
- Respond to customer inquiries (walk-in, phone, and email)
- Enter and process orders in SAP
- Monitor and track orders through the systems
- Participate in vendor, industry, and fluid power product training
- Other tasks as required
