The EPC Business Development Director’s primary focus is to generate sustainable, profitable growth across major EPC firms in the United States, including international projects if major design is occurring in the United States. Open to candidates residing in Houston TX, Greenville, SC and Kansas City areas.  

 

What you’ll do:  

  • Assume responsibility for business plan development and early project pursuit with major Engineering, Procurement and Construction Firms. 
  • You will be accountable for developing relationships with key individuals at major EPC firms that FCX works with utilizing a cooperative consultative approach.
  • Apply knowledge to create and execute FCX Performance’s strategic growth plans around vendors, products, and existing end user relationships.
  • Set Core Vendor and/or project targets.
  • Develop project pursuit strategies and maintain strategic alignment with key core vendors.
  • Develop and manage relationships with competing rep networks to maximize sales for key vendors.
  • Ensure mutual accountability to key objectives and KPI’s.
  • Collaborate with Regional VPs, Divisional Sales Managers, and sales team members in the execution of project sales plans.
  • Engage in Professional Presentations, Lunch and Learns, Demos, Shows and Customer relationship management.
  • Participate in Professional Organizations specific to EPC’s.
  • Assist the Outside Sales and Divisional Sales Managers to drive large customer/project opportunities that may require cross divisional pursuit.
  • Attend major conferences aligned with key verticals to include Energy Transition.

 

Travel:

  • Travel requirements will range from 25-50% depending on home location.

 

Qualifications: 

  • BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
  • 5+ years’ experience selling flow control products to EPC clients.
  • Demonstrated history of achieving sales objectives, knowledge of flow control products and solutions.
  • Interpersonal skills suitable for participation in engineering and sales teams.
