FCX Performance is an Applied Industrial Technologies Company and a leading process flow control company. As a Business Development Representative with FCX Performance/Simone Engineering, you will establish and expand relationships with current and prospective customers

 

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for business development within all customer vertical markets for specific product and solutions within a designated region. 

 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Establish and expand relationships with current and prospective customers using multiple techniques.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops and lunch & learns.
  • Interface with Engineers, Contractors, and Industrial Clients
  • Strategic Plan Development and Core Vendor or Service Targets
  • Develop strategic plans and accurate forecasts for sales territory and assigned accounts using previous sales, industry, and market data.
  • Maintain sales records, pipeline reporting, and generate relevant sales and market reports on a quarterly, annual, and as needed basis.
  • Accountable for sales growth through business plan development, program management, vendor coordination and relations, new customer acquisition, customer visits and presentations, and sales organization technical support and training.  
  • Generate sustainable, profitable growth by providing technical support and leadership to the outside sales team and to customers in the FCX IA/NE division and for strategic accounts in all of FCX. 
     

Requirements:

  • Experience in a Business Development role within the industrial marketplace
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Working knowledge/hands on experience selling instrumentation, valves and calibration services; along with other product categories in alignment with our flow control line.

 

 Preferred Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Industrial Distribution, Engineering & Management, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or Sales/Marketing; equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
