As an Outside Sales Representative with EADS Distribution, you will establish and expand relationships with current customers. You’ll spend your time interacting with your customers in determining their filtration, separation, automation and instrumentation needs, while providing solutions to meet those needs. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention and sales results! 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience in retaining customers and building repeat sales.
  • Successfully sell company products and services to customers by processing orders, price and delivery inquiries.
  • Provide technical and application information.
  • Be strategic, organized, and technologically savvy in your approach to managing your sales territory. 
  • Process and expedite orders, customer returns and returns to vendors in an accurate and timely manner with efficiency in vendor follow up to ensure timely delivery.
  • Sourcing and getting quotes from vendors, effectively handle correspondences from customers and fielding calls from customers as well as assisting the outside sales team.


Position Requirements:

  • Develop and deliver sales and marketing proposals for customers on technical products & services in an effective & professional manner.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and lunch & learns.
  • Call on and, when necessary, entertain Engineers, Contractors, and Industrial Clients to facilitate better customer relationships and help promote ongoing business partnerships.
  • Planning sales calls to achieve maximum customer face time each day.
  • Maintain sales records, pipeline reporting, and generate relevant sales and market reports on a quarterly, annual, and as needed basis.
  • Actively participate in weekly, quarterly, and annual sales meetings.
  • Track industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets.   
  • Self-motivated & aggressive in sales tactics and strategies; desire to close sales!
  • Technical/flow control industry and instrumentation knowledge preferred.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Computer proficiency including MS office; Epicor P21 a plus!   
     

Preferred Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Industrial Distribution, Engineering & Management, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or Sales/Marketing; equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Outside Sales/Account Manager/Territory Manager role within the industrial marketplace required.
