Fluid Power Sales, an Applied Fluid Power subsidiary, is currently looking for an Engineer to join our family. We say "family" because Applied has been fortunate to keep associates for 20, 30, 40+ years. 25% of our U.S. team has 20 or more years of service with Applied. In this role you’ll be assisting our salesforce and use your knowledge to prepare schematics, test procedures and recommend components. Leverage your hands-on experience in your background to play a pivotal role in pleasing our customers and gaining new ones.

 

We’ll look to you to lead the charge in this area as your work helps to support the industry’s best sales team.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical drawings and schematics of fluid power systems.
  • Review drawings, plans and other customer documents in order to prepare detailed technical proposals involving products and services offered.
  • Propose changes in equipment, processes or use of materials, which would result in cost reduction or operational improvements for the customer.
  • Develop business relationships with engineers and other professional and technical personnel at commercial, industrial, and other establishments to create solutions that incorporate our products and systems.
  • Maintain professional working contact with key suppliers of products sold.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Understanding and ability to read technical drawings
  • Working knowledge of DesignCAD or SolidWorks
  • Fluid Power Industry Experience preferred
