Warehouse Shipping Coordinator

Fluid Power Sales, a subsidiary of Applied Industrial Technologies, is seeking a Warehouse Shipping Coordinator.  As part of the Warehouse team, you will receive and verify incoming parts, maintain stock areas, package and prepare materials for shipment, load outgoing shipments onto trucks and provide general support to production areas.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

•    Package goods for shipment.
•    Prepare and print packing slips and bills of lading.
•    Palletize and wrap/strap loads for truck shipment.
•    Match up customer order detail with shipment labeling to ensure high accuracy.
•    Maintain a neat and organized work area.
•    Coordinate with warehouse, inside sales, and assembly operations to ensure customer orders are shipped on-time.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

               

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Basic math calculations and the ability to read, write and understand work instructions.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend and lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.

 

Preferred:

 

  • Prior experience in a warehouse, with basic knowledge of LTL shipping procedures.
  • Motivated team-player.
  • Positive can-do attitude.
  • Forklift operator certification desired but not required.
