Job Description:

Power Systems, a subsidiary of Applied Industrial Technologies, is seeking an Electronics Intern desiring to learn more about the industrial electronics world before entering your career. You will assist an experienced team that has strong product, vendor, and system knowledge.

More About Your Role:

We are looking for someone that wants to learn how to design, build and troubleshoot complex electronic systems in the mobile hydraulic marketplace.


  • Assist in creating a written document of machine operations, which is used for development and troubleshooting
  • Learn how to develop advanced programs for Mobile PLC’s from a variety of vendors using CoDeSys or vendor specific software
  • Assist in creating programming blocks to add to custom libraries
  • Help design effective graphics and user interface elements for Displays, Control Boxes, and Radio Remotes



  • PC proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Office applications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, e-mail composition, and telephone skills
  • Must be well organized, detail oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
