Power Systems, a subsidiary of Applied Industrial Technologies, is seeking a Quality Manager. The position’s primary responsibilities are auditing internal and external processes, communications and policies on behalf of Power Systems.  The successful applicant will be responsible to effectively interact with Production, Engineering & Purchasing teams to ensure quality product. Ensure procedures & work instructions are current & properly understood in compliance with national standards. Establish clearly defined quality methods. Set up & maintain controls & documentation procedures. Ensure the execution of corrective action & compliance through customers’ specifications.  The Quality Manager will also be responsible for ensuring continual quality improvement within the facilities.


  • Work with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure product quality.
  • Create work procedures and instructions are current and utilized in compliance with national standards.
  • Define, develop, and track necessary training requirements for internal staff.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects throughout the organization.
  • Maintain corrective and preventive action processes.
  • Complete PPAP documentation per customer requirements.
  • Report the performance of the QMS to review and improve processes.


  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently as well as with a team.


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • 2+ year’s quality position experience.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001.
