Mechanical Designer

As a Designer, you'll partner with an experienced team that has strong product, vendor, and system knowledge. We'll look to you to function as an extruded aluminum designer and mechanical systems development expert, building relationships with customers. 

 

More About Your Role

You will be responsible for the promotion of company products and services to a diverse range of manufacturing companies within the company’s geographic region. The primary responsibilities are to assist customers in designing mechanical solution with product selection and integration. In addition to providing application assistance, you will also be required to produce designs using 80/20 product and AutoCad 3D modeling software, develop drawings, bill of materials, and project specifications, which define the scope and performance requirements.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)     Assisting CFC sales force in their territories, while working with engineers or other professional and technical personnel at OEM’s and other establishments to promote solutions that incorporate CFC’s products and systems.

2)     Produce drawings, bills of materials and quotes using CFC’s products

3)     Maintain professional working contact with key suppliers of products sold.

 

Requirements:

  • PC proficiency with Word, Excel and other Office applications. 
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, e-mail composition and telephone. 
  • Must be well organized, detail oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.   

 

Preferences:

  • Engineering Degree
  • Solid Works 3D solid modeling software knowledge
  • Microsoft Excel Software knowledge
  • Minimum of one year of Fluid Power Industry experience
