We are currently seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Associate to join DTS Fluid Power, an Applied Industrial Technologies company. This professional will be responsible for handling the accounts receivable function with a variety of accounting tasks as well as handling the inventory control function including purchasing.


  • Responsible for general accounting matters including account reconciliations, journal entry preparation and end of month reporting matters for Applied.
  • Carries out policies and procedures as defined in the quality manual.
  • Continuous development through reading, schools, seminars and on-the-job training.


  • Review of account analyses.
  • Prepare and record month journal entries by compiling and analyzing accounting information.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly account reconciliations
  • Focus on tax compliance such as monthly tax provision, tax withholdings and other tax issues as they arise.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Access to assets within area of responsibility is permitted only in accordance with general or specific authorization.
  • Work closely with other departments or divisions on matters of mutual concern and responsibilities.
  • Prepare reports as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.


  • Accounting degree preferred – HS Diploma or Equivalent is Required
  • Industrial or manufacturing industry experience is a plus
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
  • analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Excel, account reconciliation skills
  • Minimal travel required
