As an Outside Sales Representative with ESI (Engineered Sales)/an Applied Fluid Power subsidiary, you’ll spend your time interacting with your customers in determining their fluid power needs, while providing solutions to meet those needs. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention and sales results!  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience in retaining customers and building repeat sales.
  • Successfully sell company products and services to customers by processing orders, price and delivery inquiries.
  • Provide technical and application information.
  • Be strategic, extremely organized, and technologically savvy in your approach to managing your sales territory. 
  • Maintain sales records, pipeline reporting, and generate relevant sales and market reports on a quarterly, annual, and as needed basis.
  • Responsible for helping set sales target goals and marketing strategy.

 

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude; Hands-on product demonstrations for customers and prospects
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems.
  • Self-motivated & aggressive in sales tactics and strategies; desire to close sales!
  • Background in outside sales within the Industrial/Fluid Power marketplace preferred.
