Lead, organize, and direct supply chain management, inventory control functions and warehouse requirements to meet / exceed company goals and metrics. Responsibilities include supply chain purchasing and inventory processes and solutions for the corporate location and remote inventory in service center locations.

This position reports to Spencer Fluid Power’s General Manager.

•    Develop, maintain, and improve supply chain processes and procedures, managing to exceed KPIs while delivering on customer expectations.
•    Analyze usage and manage total inventory levels to meet customer and company needs within an acceptable range. Use best ERP and inventory management practices and procedures.  
•    Manage stock levels and transit between locations. Facilitate forecasting with remote locations to ensure uninterrupted flow of materials for customer agreements.
•    Recommend and implement action plans for turns, obsolete product review and expedite requirements.
•    Collaborate with senior management in setting pricing for customer and product categories. Monitor costs vs sales results.
•    Perform vendor reviews / audits regarding cost accuracy, inventory discrepancies, freight costs & methods, and partner with vendors for best results.
•    Develop Supply Chain / Distribution Center team members 
•    Participate in project work and other assignments as needed. 
•    Monitor freight recovery as an aggregate and large customer specifically. Set expectations for all locations, and work with local Branch Managers to meet or exceed. 
•    Keep records on all locations lease agreements, work with senior leadership, Corporate, and Branch Managers to review local requirements and plan accordingly.

•    3+ yrs proven Supply Chain Management experience.
•    Problem solving, results oriented.
•    Analytical skills demonstrating consistent logic, rationality and objectivity in decision making.
•    Practical and applied knowledge of sourcing, buying, planning, and overall processes.
•    Demonstrated ability to develop people, processes in a rapid changing demanding environment.
•    Equivalent to specialized study or training in inventory control and supply chain management. 
•    Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, Microsoft Excel & Word.
•    Bachelor’s degree preferred.
•    Industrial distribution experience. Manufacturing experience a plus.
