Fluid Power Sales & Operations Manager

As a Fluid Power Sales & Operations Manager at Engineered Sales Inc., you will use your strong leadership skills to oversee a location and sales team.  You will oversee your team, spend time interacting with our locations, and meet with customers to determine their needs.  You and your team have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention, and sales results!

 

Responsibilities:

  • A track record of sales growth and team leadership.
  • Oversee and coordinate your team of Fluid Power Account Managers and branch personnel.
  • Hold your team accountable for results and partner with the team, suppliers, and customers to grow fluid power sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Continuous learning of product lines and new products being developed.
  • A commitment to personal and leadership development.
  • Ensure customers have a positive experience and service levels exceed customer expectations.
  • P&L management of the business location.
  • Budget and forecasting for the business location.
  • Measure and improve business operation processes and improve business efficiency.
  • Make presentations to both internal and external associates and customers.
  • Assist in the development, execution and measurement of a sales strategy.
  • Responsible for setting sales target goals, measurement, and execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.

 

Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years of industrial sales experience with at least 2 of those years in sales management.
  • Use of proper English grammar, written and verbal.
  • Ability to read / understand technical drawings.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.

 

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of fluid power (hydraulic and/or pneumatic) sales experience with at least 2 of those years in sales management.
  • Associate Degree, Technical Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree
  • International Fluid Power Society (IFPS) Certification highly desired
