Accounts Receivable

We are currently seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable to join Bay Advanced Technologies, an Applied Industrial Technologies company. This professional will be responsible for handling the accounts payable function with a variety of accounting tasks as well as handling the inventory control function including purchasing.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Position Responsibilities:

     

  • Make daily collection calls to past due customers.
  • Research all payment discrepancies and interact with sales or RMA departments to resolve problems.
  • Research necessary credit history to open new accounts and set credit limits.  Maintain all files
  • Monitor all checks received daily.  Run Cash Receipts Journal Daily
  • Approve all bank deposits daily
  • Make necessary credit and debit adjustments
  • Supply credit information on our customer as necessary.
  • Manage accounts on “Credit Hold” daily if justified
  • Run reports as needed
  • Make sure end of month work is complete
  • Assist and train A/R staff as needed
  • Receive AMAT ERS data and manage dispute resolution
  • Perform other duties as required

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:        

 

  • 2-3 years experience working in an Accounts Receivable function
