We invite you to apply to join a leader in the fluid power industry as a machinist and enjoy company stability, competitive pay and great benefits. As a Machinist for Bay Advanced Technologies you will machine small, medium & large components, set up and run various operations.

 

Additional responsibilities:

  • Able to perform sequence operation in a timely manner
  • Check and measure dimension during machining process
  • Insure quality meets company and customer standards
  • Maintain tolerances as required on print
  • Set up and run saw or shears
  • Deburr parts as needed coming off machine
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Perform other duties as directed by manager / supervisor

 

Role Qualifications:

  • Set up and run various operations
  • Must be able to read and understand prints
  • Ability to follow router sequences and perform 2nd op.
  • Knowledgeable in machine fabrication
  • Skilled in all machine equipment and its abilities
  • Ability to change speeds with work load demand

 

Requirements

  • 5-10 years in related field
  • Equivalent to one to three years trades training.
  • Over three and up to twelve months experience.

 

High School Diploma or GEDs required
