As an Engineer you will assist our sales force with technical expertise for the design of fluid power systems and customer system integrations. This includes preparing hydraulic schematics, test procedures and recommend components. You will provide integral project management for these systems.


Position summary Responsible for manufacturing support of fluid power systems and electrical - mechanical systems produced by the company.

Position responsibilities:

  • Address and resolve assembly questions from Production Technicians in a timely manner.
  • Work with the Production Manager to ensure all Production Technicians are properly trained on assembly procedures/processes and have adequate Work Instructions.
  • Create manufacturing instructions, test procedures and packaging specifications for all systems to insure compliance with customer specification requirements.
  • Work with outside vendors, sales department, engineering staff and customers to resolve manufacturability and design issues. 
  • Provide field service support as established by the engineering manager and sales.
  • Ensure Documentation Control of files for all system folders and drawings issued to the production floor and ensure they are within company protocol. 
  • Help with the duties of production and quality control supervising during absences
  • Work as a sustaining engineer for legacy product.
  • Produce detailed, carefully planned manufacturing work instructions.
  • Assist QA with test fixtures and test procedures
  • Initiate ECOs due to design, manufacturing method or process changes.
  • Generate Excel spreadsheets or custom reports for cost analysis of systems including material and labor estimates.
  • Generate Bills of Material and Routings for new systems using Made 2 Manage (ERP system).
  • Perform other duties as required
