Warehouse Manager (Bay Newark)

As Warehouse Manager you will facilitate the efficient operation of the warehouse by assuring orders are processed accurately and on time and assuring stock material is received and properly put away. Insure the integrity of inventory on hand balances is maintained. Additionally this position is involved in dead stock inventory management and cycle count management.



  •  Planning and directing personnel in the shipping and receiving departments.
  • Train new employees on procedures, and recommend changes to improve operating effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Manage manpower needs by reviewing activity reports on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service to meet customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing on receiving discrepancies.
  • Oversee the disposition of signed and dated packing slips daily.
  • Research parts incorrectly shelved or missing.
  • Be responsible for the integrity of the material in the warehouse.
  • Work with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Be point person for the dead stock inventory management and reduction program.
  • Manage Cycle Counting activities.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the VP of Operations.


Role Qualifications:

  • Work as a member of the Operations group and assist the VP of Operations in meeting established goals.
  • Supervisory skills.
  • Advanced MRP computer skills to maximize efficiencies.



  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of warehouse experience.
  • General knowledge or training in shipping, counting and checking of product
  • Basic math calculations and the ability to read, write and understand work instructions.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend and lift up to 40 lbs. regularly.



  • A working knowledge of warehouse systems and processes.
  • Customer Service experience including contact via phone and email.
