Responsibilities:


As an Atlantic Fasteners Quality Control associate, you will perform a variety of duties required within the quality control department within our operations team. Your duties will include:

 

  • Receive and verify incoming materials
  • Tests functional performance of assemblies, and parts under specified conditions.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment in line with company policy
  • Determining the acceptability of material lots, and identifying them as either approved or on-hold.
  • Work from daily schedule, work orders, verbal and written instructions
  • Use motor truck, hand and mobile lift equipment, simple hand and power tools, weighing scales, quality control machinery
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements

 

  •  6 mo.+ quality control experience
  • Attention to detail: accurate data entry skills, basic math & reading skills
  • Use of proper English grammar, written and verbal
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend and regular lifting of 50 lbs. or more
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
  • High school diploma or GED

 

 Preferred:

 

  • 1+ year quality control experience
  • Forklift operating experience
