At Applied Maintenance Supplies and Solutions (MSS), the Customer Service role has an immediate impact on our customers, on our company performance, and on personal earnings. As a member of our team, you will establish and expand relationships with current customers and our outside sales team. You’ll spend your time interacting with your customers in determining their maintenance and repair needs, while providing solutions to meet those needs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Process and expedite orders, customer returns and returns to vendors in an accurate and timely manner with efficiency in vendor follow up to ensure timely delivery.
  • Sourcing and getting quotes
  • Effectively handle correspondences from customers and fielding calls from customers as well as assisting the outside sales team.
  • Help customers get the parts they need.

Requirements:

  • Experience in customer service and or inside sales.
  • Computer skills and MS Office package. SAP Experience
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skill set.
  • Problem solving and reasoning skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
     

Preferences:

  • Industrial and or distribution knowledge is helpful.
  • Mechanical background a plus!
     

Desired characteristics:

  • Ability to learn and apply new information quickly.
  • Solid organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities.
