We are seeking an experienced hands-on self-starter to join our finance team and be instrumental in developing strong finacial models, bugeting, and work with our sales force to build stronger relationships with our customers. This position requires hands on experience in bidding and marketing skills, and will work in conjunction with our marketing team and our sales force.

Job Duties Include:

 

  • Provide decision support for leadership team through the construction of financial models, report production, forecast tools, KPI’s and other predictive models. 
  • Assist in the preparation of leadership team meeting results. 
  • Collaborate with leaders to provide financial assistance and guidance to projects and productivity initiatives. 
  • Support team(s) by providing transactional detail and analysis around vendor and procurement data with a heavy cost accounting emphasis.  Analyze and communicate root causes around purchase price variances; recommend permanent corrective actions. Will involve work with large data sets and interfacing with various business teams to provide reporting and insight around purchasing and supply chain decisions.
  • Participate and support business team functions including project work around purchasing, supply chain, warehouse labor planning, etc.
  • Assist in the annual planning (budget) process and quarterly forecasting process for MSS creating templates and budget reports to assist users in the process. Assist in communicating ownership over various key metrics included in each budget/forecast to business leaders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 6 + months experience in finance, accounting, or related business functions
  • Proven results in analyzing data and trends to create relevant and actionable business insights
  • Strong Excel Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with reporting capabilities
