We are seeking a proven leader in supply chain management to build and oversee our team. This opportunity has a significant opportunity for growth.  As an Applied Maintenance Supplies and Solutions, Supply Chain Manager, you will achieve your goals and margins by developing successful supply chain strategies through developing professionals and standardizing the supply chain process. Use your knowledge of the industrial marketplace and operations to lead multiple associates strategically and tactically. You will build on your strengths and think outside of the box while meeting / exceeding productivity objectives at both the top and bottom line. This is a highly visible position at Applied


This is your opportunity to join one of North America's largest independent industrial distributors in a high-level Supply Chain Manager position where you will have access to over 50,000 parts and critical products, such as fasteners, cutting tools, electrical components, hydraulics, and chemicals.



  • Coaching, developing, and managing talent.
  • Optimize procurement processes and MRP parameters.
  • Collaborate with suppliers in conjunction with the product management team to optimize inventory while improving customer service.
  • Balance active inventory in the distribution network.
  • Manage slow moving, inactive, and obsolete inventory.
  • Drive synergies and better network buying habits.
  • Aligning and improving international procurement process to best support all divisions.
  • Creating, implementing processes through effective reporting.
  • Driving departmental and cross functional lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a sales liaison regarding inventory and customer needs.

  • 3+ years of proven supply chain management with tangible products.
  • Proven success in developing and leading a team to accomplish area and companywide goals, including hiring, training, and coaching.
  • Experience driving and improving international procurement processes.
  • Willing to travel overnight 10-20% of the time. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 


  • APICS or PMP Certification
  • Industrial product knowledge
  • SAP Experience
  • Multi-Site Supervision
