Collections Manager

Reporting to the Director of Shared Services, our Shared Services Collections Manager leads the customer collections process with the goal of improving working capital.

 

Job Duties

  • Manage the centralized collections process
  • Hire, train, & develop strong performing team players. Champion leadership competencies
  • Minimize exposure to bad debt and drive down customer past-due balances
  • Collect, analyze and report project metrics to track team deliverables and effectiveness
  • Utilize tools (i.e. SAP, HighRadius, BI/BOBJ) to support decision making, and proactively communicate with stakeholders regarding progress
  • Work closely with other departments on matters of mutual concern and responsibilities.
  • Represent the department on cross-functional projects. Contributes significantly to the development and administration of the overall department training and quality improvement programs.
  • Takes a leadership role in the continuous improvement program of the department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
     

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business strongly desired.  Years of previous experience can be substituted for parts of this requirement.
  • 5 or more years of experience in collections and accounts receivable
  • Previous supervisor experience
  • SAP experience a plus
  • HighRadius experience a plus
  • SAP BI/BOBJ experience a plus
  • Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, Powerpoint
