We are seeking a Cyber Security Technician to actively participate in the IT Cybersecurity and Operations Department troubleshooting and administering the day-to-day security operations of infrastructure, systems and servers. This is a fast-paced, high performing, and collaborative environment. This role will assist with coordinating activities and projects, as well as setup and troubleshooting.

Required skills & experience:
    1+ yr proven experience in at least 2 of the following areas:
            - IT standards, procedures, and policies
            - Firewall configuration and troubleshooting
            - Setup and management of VPN tunnels both fixed and user based
            - Strong understanding of networking and systems protocols
            - Endpoint protection and remediation activities
    Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar
    Analytical and troubleshooting skills, responsiveness, creativity, ability to plan and organize
    Multi-tasking, meet/exceed time lines, budget, and quality standards
    High school diploma or equivalent. Some college / degree preferred

Preferred skills & experience:
    Linux and base understanding of other UNIX flavors
    Intrusion Protection Systems and/or other edge devices
    Mobile Device Management (MDM) administration
    Vulnerability and patch management
    Risk assessment processes
    Understanding of the importance and techniques for user awareness
    Authentication. SSO / Provisioning
    Load-Balancers and Web Content Filtering
    Understanding of scripting languages and purpose
    Familiarity with security and compliance standards like NIST, ISO, PCI
    Performing security incident response activities
    Infosec certifications preferred (CISSP, GIAC, Security+)
