The HR Technologist is part of the Total Rewards team, accountable for organizing and optimizing all HR and related systems to help deliver on the company’s business objectives. The HR Technologist is responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of all HR and related systems that support business strategies and/or address key business issues.

In this role you will oversee and work with the HRIS, time management, benefits administration, and payroll systems.  You will also work very closely with the IT department on HR components of the ERP and Active Directory systems. 

Coordination with members of the Human Resources team in the preparation and execution of change management, communication, training, and implementation plans related to HR system processes. In addition, this position will contribute and lead other projects and activities within the scope of the role on an as-needed basis.


  • Manage and maintain optimal function of the organizations internal HR information services systems, which may include database management, network support, installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules.
  • Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, Information Services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HR database and system design and implementation projects.
  • Leads continuous process improvement activities related to HR systems and technology.
  • Manage HR data integrity including the use and dissemination of employee information, data protection, data accuracy, and data extracts. Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Develop standard reports for customers in HR and other departments.
  • Support the administration of the focal compensation review processes, including administering compensation systems and tools. Helps document procedures to streamline business processes. Assist in the development and communication of compensation related training materials and guidelines
  • Participate in budget session to support annual budget process.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications.
  • Oversees the procurement of appropriate hardware and software to ensure that the organization has high quality, efficient systems.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Strong business acumen: Curiosity and ability to integrate technology solutions into everyday business process to improve effectiveness and ease of use. 
  • Action oriented and problem solving; technology oriented; can suggest creative, pragmatic solutions to business issues.
  • Ability to focus on customer requirements while balancing technology solutions.
  • Accountability and willingness to provide feedback and encouragement to promote teamwork across functions.
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, including strong presentation and negotiation skills.
