Learning Specialist and Developer

Scope of Responsibility:

  • Key liaison for Learning Management System (LMS) for department and field
  • Launch, assign, and support programs on LMS and social learning (Jam) platforms
  • Engage in learning and functionality of the SuccessFactors LMS system
  • Plan, organize and manage instructor-led classes
  • Creation of learning assets (video, screen recordings, eLearning courses, job aids, etc.)
  • Utilize project management skills and develop content to support Organizational Learning goals
  • Design experience programs based on organizational needs to impact business outcomes


Job Duties:

  • Work with the learning team and field leaders to measure learning effectiveness
  • Responsible for LMS reports and business outcomes
  • Develop training programs
  • Manage testing and uploading process on the LMS
  • LMS assistance for field associates
  • Planning and logistics support facilitated courses
  • Produce and edit videos, podcasts, and screen recordings


Desired Education, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor of Science or Arts degree Preferred; High School Diploma or Equivalent Required


Professional experience in multiple categories desired:

    • Prior Learning and Talent Development experience
    • Previous Learning Management System administrative skills
    • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel
    • Project management and organization skills
    • Ability to handle/prioritize multiple projects and requests
    • Experience in courses, video, audio or creative content development
    • Intermediate writing skills
    • Internet and computer skills required
    • Instructional design experience beneficial, but not required
