The Legal Administrator is responsible for providing support for the Commercial Law Group and the Employment Law Group, as well as managing the contract management database, consignment process, legal files, and other Legal Department processes. Work in a highly collaborative manner with several departments across the company.

This is a permanent full time position at our corporate headquarters campus in the Midtown Corridor of Cleveland, OH.



This role is responsible for assisting with day-to-day general legal administration and managing our processes. In this role, you will manage legal files in our contract management database, customer & supplier questionnaires and certifications, and related documents to ensure clarity, compliance, best business practices.



  • Administration and maintenance of contract management database and other legal files, including partnering with remote sales offices and onsite corporate functions. Identify, recommend, and help implement process improvements
  • Manage US and Canadian supplier questionnaires as well as consignment process. Assist in opening new consignment accounts, working with Internal Audit and service centers to gather information, reconcile consignment lists, closing inactive accounts and filing/terminating UCCs
  • Prepare and send employee non-compete reminder letters
  • Draft cease and desist letters
  • Conduct initial review of subpoenas and gather information for responses
  • Maintain all domain name registrations
  • Distribute notifications to and track responses from service centers and subsidiaries regarding recalls and compliance issues
  • Assist Trade Compliance Analyst with export compliance responsibilities
  • Assist Government Contract Administrator with SAM government contractor registrations and other government contracting responsibilities
  • Act as main liaison between Legal, all Corporate departments and service centers/subsidiaries
  • Track and maintain various processes, including all Legal Department training materials, training presentations given and attendees
  • Some administrative duties (filing, initiating check requests, mail distribution, UPS, office supplies)
  • Special projects as needed


  • 3+ years proven administration including process improvement / management
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office particularly Word & Excel
  • Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar
  • Interpersonal skills, positive business relationships both in person and via phone / email
  • Experience with contract administration – writing, reviewing, editing, a plus
  • Multi-tasking, analytical, problem solving, organization skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines
  • High school diploma required;
  • Paralegal certification / education preferred
