In this role, you will have the opportunity to build valuable relationships with a wide variety of supplier partners and Applied Industrial Technologies corporate departments. The Marketing Coordinator will work in a support role for the Catalog/Digital Marketing Manager.



  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure departmental functionality and coordination
  • Bookkeeping - create invoices and manage billing processes using SAP and QuickBooks
  • Ensure timely collection of supplier payments
  • Maintain open and aged marketing account balances
  • Provide marketing team with monthly revenue tracking
  • Match payment with invoices & distributes checks for review/signature
  • Understanding of social media and use of Hubspot
  • Support the development, implementation, and tracking of marketing programs/projects
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. product management and sales) to adhere to deadlines
  • Communicate and work with external vendors to execute marketing initiatives



  • High School diploma is required; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or relevant field is preferred
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a combination of administrative/marketing related roles
  • Accounting skills including hands on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and account reconciliations
  • Proficiency in a variety of modern technology and computer software applications, especially Microsoft Excel; Experience with SAP and QuickBooks is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal
  • A team player who is comfortable performing and managing a versatile workload, organized and able to prioritize work and tasks
