Product Information Specialist

The Product Information Specialist will work in a support role for both the Product Information Manager and the Catalog/Digital Marketing Manager. The position will require the user to become proficient in the day-to-day management of product information, including the ability to update content and images associated with the company product mix.   

 

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist in day-to-day management of product information, product updates, asset intake and processing
  • Data enrichment for existing product data, metadata and fill in gaps
  • Manage product content resources, data quality, and governance

 

Required Experience:

  • General knowledge of product hierarchies, processes pertaining to product management, architecture, data quality
  • Versed in Microsoft Access and/or Excel, working knowledge of databases
  • Excellent organizational skills and an eye for attention to detail

 

Skills / Knowledge Considered A Plus:

  • B2B e-Commerce / website experience
  • Experience in the Distribution industry
  • Previous experience working with product data and attributes
  • Awareness of product information environments and systems

 

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years product information management
