Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

The Senior Financial Reporting’s role is to work closely with the Manager of Financial Reporting to produce accurate and timely US GAAP consolidated SEC financial reporting for the Company, including the preparation of footnotes and supporting documentation for the Company’s 10-Q and 10-K filings for SEC reporting requirements, and coordination with internal & external auditors.  The position will also be involved with performing the quarterly long-lived asset impairment analysis related to ASC 360, the annual goodwill impairment analysis related to ASC 350, and performing accounting research & preparing position memos as requested.  This position reports to the Manager of Financial Reporting and will also be tasked with various special projects, including assisting with the Company’s implementation of the new accounting standards.  This includes setting a tone of strong internal control and timeliness in financial reporting with the global finance functions and working with the external and internal auditors.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare footnotes & other supporting schedules for the Company’s 10-Q and 10-K filings, and ensure adequate disclosures are made in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Responsible for preparing the quarterly review of potential impairment indicators for long-lived assets, consisting of long-lived intangible assets and fixed assets.
  • Assist with the coordination of the annual goodwill impairment analysis, including generating balance sheets by reporting units, assembling reporting unit projections, and working with outside experts.
  • Assist with the completion of audits related to the Company’s benefit plans, including preparation of the financial statements.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor worldwide compliance with accounting-related policies and procedures.
  • Work with worldwide entities to ensure they are providing complete, accurate, and thorough reporting packages as it relates to financial reporting.
  • Ensure that the processes and controls surrounding the financial reporting process are documented in a manner which ensures adequate internal controls.
  • Provide audit support as needed through regular interaction with internal and external auditors.
  • Work closely with external auditors to facilitate the timely completion of the quarterly reviews and annual audit of the Company’s financial statements.
  • Research and provide technical accounting consultation and support to internal constituents regarding US GAAP and practical implementation thereof, including special projects related to purchase accounting and other technical areas.
  • Review new revenue contracts for compliance with ASC 606.
  • Application of new lease accounting guidance within ASC 842.
  • Responsible for assisting with various internal and external reporting requirements as needed.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in public accounting and/or financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a working knowledge of financial systems, statements and reports
  • Demonstrated strong technical accounting background and research skills (US GAAP)
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with the ability to work proactively with teams including a high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and balance work in a deadline-driven environment with high level of responsibility and ownership.


  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – or actively pursuing
  • Experience with SAP and BPC
  • SEC financial reporting experience with an understanding the complexities within
  • Knowledge of internal control procedures and the ability to design and maintain related internal controls
