As a Mechanic, your duties will include disassembly, inspection, rebuilding and testing of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves. You will specify the necessary parts and labor needed to complete the repair, as well as provide a failure analysis. Other duties may include assembly/fabrication, plumbing, and testing of Hydraulic components, along with trouble shooting, removal, installation, and repairs on customer equipment.

What You’ll Do:

This is a service driven role. As a Mechanic with Applied you will perform a variety of duties. Some of these duties include fabrication, maintenance on pumps, motors, and valves, and welding. The position is initially based s in our shop in Highland Heights, Ohio but as you grow within the company there is the opportunity to go to customers as a Field Service Technician.

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of shop experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Not required but preferred: Some experience working with fluid power products
  • Valid Drivers licensed
