We are currently seeking an experienced Branch / Operations Manager to oversee the operations, meeting customers and determining their needs for strong customer focused support and sales growth. 

Overview:
As Branch Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations of our Madison Heights Branch while also providing technical and sales support of the outside sales team to meet/exceed P&L metrics. This position reports directly to our General Manager.

Responsibilities include:

•    Manage internal branch operations to meet/exceed P&L objectives
•    Lead training for sales expertise & product knowledge. Ensure high customer relations & satisfaction
•    Develop, manage & implement branch repair & service activities & strategies, technical and customer service support performance goal metrics, achievement, and margins using quality control & ISO certification mindset
•    Meeting customer and shipment metrics, including time to fill, expediting orders, and quoting
•    Assisting account managers in the identification, acquisition, and retention of customers
•    Managing inventory, receivables, expenses, and profit/loss accounting
•    Reviewing and completing monthly reports as well as overseeing petty cash balancing
•    Ensuring that customer relations are maintained at a high level
•    Utilizing key metrics to evaluate and recommend best practices for operations
•    Leadership by example. Create a positive, dynamic, and fun work environment


Position Requirements:

Your mission is to meet / exceed sales goals (top line sales dollars for the repair shop and bottom line profits) by developing a productive, healthy environment where people want to succeed and grow personally and professionally as a team.
 

•    5+ years of proven operations, repair service, quality control/lean processing experience including 2+ years in management. Fluid power (hydraulic and/or pneumatic) experience a plus
•    Solid understanding of financial and accounting concepts
•    Leadership experience, team building. Repair shop or quality control experience preferred
•    Ability to read / understand technical drawings.
•    Detail oriented with ability to learn new processes and systems.
•    Written and verbal communications, including English grammar
•    Ability / desire to quickly learn new processes and systems. Analytical skills
•    Problem solving, multitasking, sense of urgency, sense of humor
•    Solid computer skills including Excel
•    High school diploma or GED. Associate Degree, Technical Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree preferred
•    International Fluid Power Society (IFPS) Certification highly desired
