Selecting "green" products has many benefits over and above the environmental impact. It can be a smart business choice for lowering operations costs, creating a safer working environment, complying with government policies, and generating positive business relations.

The eco-friendly attributes of thousands of products are detailed in our Applied Product Catalog and on our website. From belts and motors to chemicals, our suppliers have identified these and other eco-friendly product attributes

Applied STEM Engagement
At Applied, we recognize the impact and importance of corporate social responsibility in today's dynamic business environment. Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) initiatives provide us the opportunity to share our knowledge and engage today's students with important and relevant career path opportunities that highlight STEM as among the key skills of the evolving marketplace.

Tour De Cure
Applied associates participated in the virtual "Tour de Cure" for the American Diabetes Association. The team raised over $3,700 to support the mission to help people live with Type 1 & Type 2 diabete & find a cure. 

Applied Canada's Third Annual 'December Month of Giving' Campaign
Across Canada, Applied associates participated in this intiative to give back to the communities we live, work and operate in. For every food item donated, Applied Canada matched the donation by $2. By the end of December Applied raised 7300 donations and $14,600 matched company dollars. These donations benefitted foodbanks across 17 cities in Canada!

Humble Design Deco Day
Humble Design Deco Day brought together Corporate associates from Product Management, IT, Corporate Communications, and Central Services to help a mom and daughter feel the enjoyment of being “home”… surrounded by things that will bring them happiness and comfort!

Supporting Organizations
We help shape the communities in which we operate and reside not only by providing superior service to our customers but also by taking an active role in our community. Local philanthropic efforts include sponsorship of community hunger banks, support to elderly homeless centers, and many other worthwhile organizations. 
Applied's Diversity Walk, Rock, Roll & Run Team
In 2022, Applied associates and their families attended The Diversity Center's Walk, Rock, Roll & Run event to help fundraise for local School and Youth Programs. Thanks to the generosity and dedication of our associates, Applied was able to raise over $5,000 for the organization!
