Start Your Career With Applied

As part of a year-long rotational program (approximately June – May the following year), you will rotate between six different departments within Accounting-Finance (approximately two months in each department). This will allow you to experience a variety of aspects of Accounting and Finance and better understand how each department helps support and drive the business.

Whether you are interested in a Fluid Power, Automation or Flow Control industry, we have the engineering role for you. With numerous locations across these three divisions, we can provide the right internship in the right location for you.

As an industrial distributor and technical solutions provider, supply chain management is a large part of our business. During your supply chain internship, you will gain valuable real-life experience in the areas of Purchasing, Inventory, and Data Management that will prepare you for a full-time position in supply chain after you graduate.

Applied has sales internships across multiple divisions to help you learn a specific industry and its sales cycles. You will gain valuable experience by shadowing various sales team members and learning how they have become successful.

Our Career Opportunity and Management Employment Training (COMET) is the exclusive, award-winning, fast-track training program of Applied Industrial Technologies. COMET is for those who desire a challenging role in the sales and distribution of industrial components. You will learn about the business from the ground up while adding to an organization with a bright future.

10 months in a trainee role receiving personalized training and coaching by managers and peers, many of whom started in the same position.

Product training as well as soft-skills training in sales, communications, and customer service through one-on-one, small group, web-based methods, and on-the-job training.

We will introduce you to our sales and operations processes, technology, and strong company culture focused on customer satisfaction and individual/team contributions.
